This position will support the private market investing strategies and be responsible for accounting, financial analysis, and reporting


Essential Functions

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain books and records of all traditional closed-end fund structures and related legal entities including foreign entities and general partner entities
  • Utilize an outsourced fund administration accounting team, managing closely the team’s outputs and ensuring adherence to its contract
  • Prepare and evaluate capital calls and distributions
  • Prepare and serve as team lead for the annual US GAAP audit work for over 14 legal entities
  • Work closely with tax preparers on annual tax returns and filings for 40+ legal entities
  • Ensure compliance with SEC-registered financial advisor reporting requirements including the mandated custody process
  • Manage SCV platform payables function and related fund allocations
  • Handle ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned


Necessary Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 7-9 years of Accounting experience; CPA preferred
  • Ability to accurately analyze and apply US GAAP, income tax basis and cash basis financial reports
  • Experience in designing and implementing process improvements and internal control best practices
  • Expert knowledge of Excel and Accounting Systems and experience with Performance based measurement
